About

Since 2009 Dog Eat Crow Magazine has been showcasing the best short fiction from the best young writers around the world. Originally started as an offshoot of author Tres Crow's blog Dog Eat Crow World as a way to publish great fiction from writers he admired, DECM was re-purposed in early 2012 as a way to expose the online literary community to the wide array of young talent bubbling just below the surface. While there is a never-ending supply of markets for experienced writers, there are precious few options for those writers just starting out on their lifelong love affair with the written word. DECM's mission is to become the foremost resource for young writers, and to encourage, promote, and aid the next generation of Pulitzer Prize winners, New York Times Bestsellers, and National Book Award winners. Writing can be a lonely business, and while the solitary struggle is necessary, support is too. May this magazine and online community be that support.
